Born in Guatemala, Edna Canastuj has lived in the United States for 27 years. A proud mother, grandmother and business owner, Edna was diagnosed with breast cancer in November 2020. A surgery, 16 months of chemotherapy and 7 weeks of radiation followed. She says while in the OR for surgery, she had a dream where her father and a doctor laid a hand on her forehead and told her everything was going to be ok. A week later, Edna's doctor called to tell her the cancer was gone. Edna credits God for her successful cancer treatments. She's also grateful for her medical teams, family, friends and clients who supported and prayered for her through her treatments. "And I would like to thank Forge for giving me the opportunity to share my story and demonstrate to others that everything is possible with faith, love and a will to live," says Edna.

Born and raised in Birmingham, Daniel Grier is the founder and creative of Splashed by DKG, a bold, luxury streetwear brand known for its statment prints and custom designs. Daniel also serves as founder and managing partner of Magic City Fashion Week INC, an organization launched to showcase the Magice City and its artists and makers who oftentimes go overlooked. He is also the proud father of an amazing 13-year-old son, Aedan.
